This was a small dark back garden surrounded by trees. The aim was to create a neat uncluttered space that has all year round interest. The approach was to use a formal layout that is symmetrical. The floor space is bright and reflective, the planting relies upon evergreen buxus to frame the garden beds. Flashes of colour lead our eye into the garden towards a cube of stone enclosing a tank of reflective water.
